Edward Klaeger IV

Founder, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Klaeger brings 28 years of experience in corporate finance and asset management in capital markets in the U.S. and Europe with more than 14 years of project development and finance in clean renewable energy and biofuels production in Europe and emerging economies in Eastern Europe.  During this time he worked closely with the large International Financial Institutions (IMIs) such as the International Monetary Fund (IMF), a division of the World Bank Group and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). Mr. Klaeger has previously served on the Board of Directors for the OECD and European-Ukrainian Energy Agency (EUEA).

In addition to his extensive background in finance and international capital markets Mr. Klaeger brings a unique set of skills to Fiberlab including Project Management oversight, market strategy and marketing, financial modelling, business development, and Power Point Presentations.  Mr. Klaeger is an accomplished public speaker with strong presentation skills.

Tanner Shaw

Chief Technology Officer

Tanner Shaw, PE, LEED AP is the Chief Engineer at Fiberlab responsible for the design, construction and operations of the Fiberlab facilities.  Mr. Shaw received his BS in Architectural Engineering from Kansas State University and is a licensed Professional Engineer – Mechanical (Nevada).  Mr. Shaw has design, construction and operations experience through multiple sectors focusing primarily on mechanical, process design and controls.  Prior to coming to Fiberlab, Mr. Shaw recently managed the commissioning, startup and operations of a 24 million gallon per year ethanol plant with on-site anaerobic digestion biogas facility.

Mr. Shaw’s experience in engineering, construction, and project management provides a unique skill set to manage the engineering, design, and operations of Fiberlab’s vision of build-own-operate business model.

Jon Queen

Vice President

Mr. Queen has more than 20 years of investment banking, financial and corporate advisory experience. He holds a Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Pennsylvania, an MBA from the Kyiv School of Economics and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Cornell University. Mr. Queen began his career at John Hancock Financial Services in 1997, later moving to Latham & Watkins LLP where he helped underwrite several billion dollars of debt and equity structured deals. He left Latham & Watkins to begin trading commodities in Hong Kong for the International Environmental Trading Group, a subsidiary of the Japanese investment bank Capital Partners Securities, and later the Anemone Group, a joint venture partner with the world’s largest oil and gas trading company Vitol SA.

Mr. Queen’s skillset combination of financial modeling and analysis, business strategy, investor relations, legal draftsmanship, and project due diligence helps to further strengthen Fiberlab’s tactical development, investment, and growth decisions.

Bobby Malone

Sales Manager

Robert “Bobby” Malone brings over 15 years sales experience in the health and fitness market and commerical real estate. Mr. Malone is an expert on the cannabis plant as well as cannabinoids and their medicinal benefits. Prior to working at Fiberlab Bobby moved to Colorado in 2014 to get involved in the cannabis Industry for business opportunities and personal health reasons. Bobby has previously worked as a representative for the National Cannabis Chamber of Commerce and is currently the Fiberlab DTLA Sales and Operations Manager.
